Our Client, a Multinational Chemical Manufacturing Company, is looking for a DCS Software Engineer candidate.

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, IT, Chemical Engineering, or Electronics
  • 3 years of experience in Yokogawa DCS and SIS software programming and development
  • Proficient in English

Job Description:

  • Maintenance task preparation (plan maintenance for OT equipment such as DCS & SIS, PLC, OTS and other plant control system, applying Time Based Maintenance or Condition Based Maintenance for critical assets and breakdown, modification, or corrective maintenance for non-critical assets. (Both software and hardware) 
  • Handle DCS and SIS modifications (develop existing sequences and settings based on process requirements)  
  • Update maintenance direct sheets with design data, historical records, process parameters, deterioration patterns, manuals, and schedules
  • Execute, review, update, and monitor long-term, annual, monthly, and daily maintenance plans, ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion in line with plant conditions
  • Prepare and execute inspection and test plans, including acceptance criteria in accordance with maintenance manuals and instrument standards
  • Lead technical evaluations, NCR/CPAR findings, and process deviations, ensuring compliance with specifications and best practices
  • Prepare budget proposals for OT equipment based on inspection and analysis reports 
  • Prepare, execute, complete, and update as-built documents, maintenance records, and reserve new spare parts for OT projects 
  • Develop OT local rules aligned with holding company regulations 
  • Maintain active communication with holding company OT security teams regarding technical issues, improvements, and upgrades 
  • Participate in DX initiatives such as PIMS, PAM, Data Science, Data Engineering, LIMS, and other digital optimization projects
  • Manage and mentor Instrument Technicians and business partners, promoting safety, quality, and on-time performance
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations of Instrument Technicians in accordance with company policy 
  • Support safety programs, encourage kaizen participation, and proactively engage in CO2 reduction, energy-saving, and cost-down initiatives)
