Our client is a multinational chemical distributor company seeking a Product Manager – Personal Care to support sales teams with product knowledge and strategic input, also to serve as the main point of contact for assigned suppliers
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Pharmacist
- Min. 5 years of experience as Product Manager in Personal Care raw material distributor company
- Has good skills at formulation, product knowledge, presentation, and product concept design
- Strong team work, critical thinking, sense of curiosity skills
- Good in English (both written and spoken)
Job Description
- Determine strategy for each supplier/product, including product life cycle, positioning, and competitiveness
- Assist in developing promotional materials and sales tools by working together with application lab team
- Design product concept as part of regular marketing activities in line with market trends, specific customer needs, stock items, and product focus of each supplier in the current month/year
- Responsible for marketing activity reports for each supplier, monthly or quarterly or annually depending on the agreement with each supplier
- Monitor stock items in relation to shelf life, and negotiate with suppliers if support for re-testing is required
- Lead and work closely with technical support to organize all work related to technical support, product samples, product documents, complaints, communication with supplier, etc
