Our client is a local plantation holding company seeking a GM Finance Accounting Tax to develop, implement, and monitor financial planning and management. Also to oversee and control internal financial systems in the company so that can provide strategic recommendations to the Boards Member regarding business decisions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Finance/Accounting
  • At least 10–15 years of experience in the finance sector, with significant experience in senior management roles
  • Possess a solid understanding of financial management, tax regulations, investments, and capital markets
  • Preferably has CPA, CA, CFA certifications
  • Willing to work with frequent travelling to site
  • Strong  strategic thinking, problem solving, and communication skills
  • Good in English (both written and spoken)

Job Description

  • Develop and implement short and long-term financial strategies aligned with the company’s vision
  • Conduct financial projections and risk analysis to support strategic decision-making
  • Manage cash flow, tax planning, investments, and corporate financing
  • Ensure optimal use of capital and control of operational costs
  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulations
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, external audits, and other financial laws
  • Design and monitor internal control systems to prevent fraud and improve operational efficiency
  • Evaluate and improve financial policies and procedures
  • Building relationships with banks, investors, auditors, regulators, and other strategic partners
  • Manage fundraising processes and merger & acquisition activities as needed
